Brand Building
Amazon Listing Conversion: The Fundamentals
Main images, titles, bullets and A+ Content, and how each one affects whether a shopper buys.

A listing has two jobs: earn the click in search results, then earn the purchase on the product page. Each element contributes to one or both.
The main image
The main image is the single most important creative asset. It must follow Amazon's requirements, including a pure white background for most categories, and still stand out among a grid of similar products.
The title
Titles should lead with the brand and the most important descriptive keywords, written for people first. Keyword stuffing makes listings harder to read and can conflict with Amazon's style guidelines.
Secondary images and bullets
- Show the product in use and at scale.
- Answer the questions customers ask in reviews and Q&A.
- Lead each bullet with the benefit, then support it with the feature.
- Address objections such as sizing, compatibility or care.
A+ Content and the Brand Store
Available to brand-registered sellers, A+ Content adds rich modules below the fold, and the Brand Store gives the brand its own destination on Amazon. Both reinforce trust and help shoppers compare products within your range.
Test and iterate
Amazon's Manage Your Experiments tool lets brand owners test titles, images and A+ Content. Small, measured changes beat large rewrites based on opinion.
